Hello all,

****NEW POLICY****

As Mr. Fuiman announced at Friday’s pack meeting, there are going to be some new rules in effect for ALL den meetings.

1.) When you arrive to the church for the den meeting, you must IMMEDIATLEY proceed to your den’s room.
2.) There will be NO MORE running around the church (and/or gym) BEFORE and AFTER the den meeting.
3.) Parents MUST pick up their scout from their den rooms at the end of the den meetings. Scouts are NOT permitted to roam freely.
4.) Each scout MUST always be accompanied by their parent/guardian before & after the den meetings.
5.) No scouts are allowed to leave/go outside of the church by themselves after a den meeting – they must wait to leave with their parent/guardian.

These rules have been put in place for everyone’s safety.  If there are any questions or concerns, please contact your den leader.

The next two den meetings will be used for building your pine wood derby cars. Please bring your pine wood derby cars that you recieved at the holiday party to the next two den meetings. On Friday, January 29th, Mr. G (last year’s packmaster) will be bringing a band saw and belt sander to help cut the general shape of the cars for everyone.

* Please have your scout come up with ideas for their car BEFORE Friday’s Den meeting. They should draw/sketch a sample design if possible.
* Each den will be called to the gym seperately to have their cars cut to shape. PARENTS MUST ACCOMPANY their scout to the gym. There WILL BE power tools in use, and everyone is responsible for their own safety!
* If you are unable to, or choose not to make this Friday’s den meeting, there will be NO OTHER opportunities to use the power tools provided by Mr. G. You will be responsible to cut and shape the car your self.
