Hello Cub Pack 375!
Friday evening we will be having a den meeting at Hillcrest Elementary School at 7:30PM. Please try to arrive early as we will be starting promptly at 7:30PM. The new rules of no running around the gym prior/after the meetings are still in effect.
We will have a special visitor at the pack meeting from Friends of Scouting. They are part of a volunteer organization that helps with fundraising for the Cradle of Liberty Council, whom we are under. Please see the attached document for their information letter. They *will* be asking for monetary donations at the pack meeting. Please do not feel obligated to donate unless you want to.
Saturday will be our Scout Day at the National Constitution Center. It is from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, try to arrive early so you can find parking, etc. You must be preregistered for this event. Scouts should come in full uniforms. Lunch is available for purchase at the center, or you may bring your own brown bag lunch. The cost is $12/adult.
And remember – the Blue & Gold picnic will be held next Saturday, March 27th from 10AM – 2PM at Newlin Grist Mill Park.
We are looking for donations/prizes to raffle off at the event. Please contact local businesses to see if they would like to donate items to be raffled off at the Blue & Gold Picnic. Sample items that were donated last year included: portable chair massager, die cast replica model cars, autographed sports memorabilia, gift certificates, wireless routers, vaccum cleaners, and more! Please go and ask your local businesses to see if they are willing to donate anything – all proceeds will go towards the pack to support our events and other pack costs.

Help Support Cub Pack 375
As you may know, the Boy Scouts of America have a Cub Scout pack here in Drexel Hill. Our Pack 375 consists of 31 boys ranging in age from 6 to 11 years. Throughout the year, the boys participate in countless activities to assist them in advancing along the Cub Scout “trail”. These activities help promote the Cub Scouting 12 core values: citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health and fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect, and responsibility. Some of the activities that the boys have participated in include a trip to the aquarium, an annual camping trip, pinewood derby, and an evening with the KIXX. The scouts look forward to their weekly meetings, but the highlight is usually the monthly activity.
They recently visited friends, family, and neighbors collecting canned foods for a local homeless shelter. These are only a few of the activities used to shape these young boys into the men that they will become. Our pack is currently seeking financial sponsors to assist in off setting the expense of the monthly activities and excursions. We would be grateful for any monetary contribution that your business is willing to make. Any amount is helpful and is tax deductible via our tax exempt identification number: 23-1352053.
Donations can be given to any Cub Pack 375 scout, mailed to us, or made in person at any Den Meeting, Pack Meeting, or other Cub Pack 375 event. Checks should be made payable to “Cub Pack 375″.
If you would like to mail in your donation, please e mail donations@dhcubpack375.org for the mailing address for donations.
Kind Regards,
The Scouts of Pack 375
