Hi All,
A reminder from Mr. Fuiman – please make sure your scouts do NOT open the pine wood derby cars & rockets (it’s ok for them to unwrap the presents, but do not open the packageing) as there are many small peices that can be lost. They will need these items in future den meetings to build for the Pine Wood Derby, and the rockets are needed at our end of year picnic. If you were unable to attend the Pack meeting/Holiday Party this past Friday, please contact your den leader to get a hold of your presents.
A few people asked when the cut off is for the food drive. According to Anna Melito (who is coordinating the efforts), it is a year round charity. Anytime you would like to donate canned/non perishable goods, please bring them to Anna. If you do not know who Anna is, please see your den leader. If you are unsure of who your den leader is, you should attend more meetings.
Ok – you can visit our website to find your den leader: http://www.dhcubpack375.org/?page_id=32
Finally – if you didn’t get a call from your school, as of right now, the Upper Darby School District is having a TWO HOUR delay tomorrow morning (AM kindergarten is CANCELLED). Please see the school district website for details, and up to date information (as the delay may change). http://www.udsd.k12.pa.us/emergency.php

Happy Holidays!
Hello Wolf Den,
Please remember that this weeks’ meeting is a PACK meeting, meaning we’ll be meeting at the Hillcrest Elementary School Gym. The start time is 7PM (Sharp!). Please arrive by 6:45PM because we are the opening den (meaning we’ll carry in the flags to start the meeting).
Do not forget to bring your designated item for the party. Your item was assigned to you at the 12/4/09 den meeting.
Full uniforms are required, and please bring your families to this event. pack meetings are family events because we want the families to see the acheivements that their scouts have earned. And the wolf den is full of awards that they will be recieving this coming Friday evening.
The bird houses that we built last week at the den meeting will be our presentation item for the pack meeting. Each scout will be presenting a few sentences to tell everyone about their bird house. It can be as simple as what colors they chose, what they plan on living in it, or how much fun they had building it. As we all found out – the glue that came in the kits was less than desireable. I have found that using a hot glue gun worked very well to reinforce the peices, also Juan (Josiah’s father) recommended Gorrilla Glue works very good as well. Please reinforce your birdhouses if you think the glue will not hold.
Have a good week, and I’ll see everyone at 6:45PM on Friday evening at Hillcrest!

Hello All,
This coming week is full of great events!
We have a Den Meeting at the Riverview Church:
Date: Friday, Dec 11th
Time: 7:30PM Sharp
We also have a candy sale at Super Fresh at the Manoa Shopping Center. This is our second of three candy sales at Super Fresh. Each scout is required to attend at least one of these sales, and you may NOT bring the box of candy assigned to you to sell. Only the last and final candy sale may you bring your personal box of candy to sell.
* Candy Sale shifts are one hour each (a parent/guardian MUST stay with the scout during their shift)
* Up to four scouts will be assigned to a shift
* If you are interested for this coming Saturday, please see Mr. Chiaffa at Friday’s Den Meeting for the sign up sheet to see the available time slots left.
If you are a first year cub scout (from ANY den), you MUST complete the requirements in your Den’s Activity Book for the Bobcat acheivement before you can complete any other achievements. Please contact your den leader if you have any questions regarding acheivements/awards.
On Sunday, we are doing a volunteer food drive. Last year, a few scouts brought wagons and went around together throughout their neighborhood and collected canned food for donations.
* We will be meeting up at the drop off circle (at the back of Hillcrest Elementary School) at 2PM on Sunday, December 13th
* If you have a wagon – please bring it to help collect the food
* Parents are required to go around with the cub scouts to ensure a safe environment since they will be knocking on doors of strangers
Our Pack Meeting on December 18th, is also our holiday party. This will start at 7:00PM sharp at Hillcrest Elementary! This is a half hour earlier than we normally start our pack meetings – please take note of this. At this past Friday’s den meeting, your cub scout was assigned an item to bring to the holiday party. Please make sure you bring this item – if you can not make it – please make arrangements to have someone else bring the item for you. If you missed the den meeting, please contact your den leader to find out what you are supposed to bring.
If you have a copy of the Cub Pack 375 Calendar, please discard it as a new/updated copy of the calendar is available at the following link: http://www.dhcubpack375.org/docs/Calendar.pdf
We look forward to seeing everyone at all of the events this coming week!
