If you want to build the rocket your self at home, or have done so already, not a problem. This den meeting is only for those who want to build it with the pack. Please remember to bring your rockets if you intend to build them. We will be launching our rockets at the Blue & Gold Picnic on Saturday.
The Blue & Gold picnic will be held Saturday, March 27th from 10AM – 2PM at Newlin Grist Mill Park. You should have been contact by your den leader now on what to bring to the picnic. Please arrive in FULL UNIFORMS, and bring a second outfit to change into. The event will be held rain or shine, so dress accordingly. The ground may be wet/muddy.
Newlin Grist Mill Park is located at:
219 South Cheyney Road
Glen Mills, PA 19342
Phone Number: (610)459-2359
Email Address: info@newlingristmill.org
We are looking for donations/prizes to raffle off at the event. Please contact local businesses to see if they would like to donate items to be raffled off at the Blue & Gold Picnic. Sample items that were donated last year included: portable chair massager, die cast replica model cars, autographed sports memorabilia, gift certificates, wireless routers, vaccum cleaners, and more! Please go and ask your local businesses to see if they are willing to donate anything – all proceeds will go towards the pack to support our events and other pack costs.
Also – go check out our website www.dhcubpack375.org when you have a chance – we have just updated the theme to a spring time theme.

We will have a special visitor at the pack meeting from Friends of Scouting. They are part of a volunteer organization that helps with fundraising for the Cradle of Liberty Council, whom we are under. Please see the attached document for their information letter. As announced, the Wings lacrosse game has been rescheduled for this coming Saturday, the 13th. If you would like to attend the Meet & Greet with the players before hand, please meet at the main box office on the Broad Street side of the Wachovia Center at 5:15PM. The game will start at 7PM. Tickets will be distributed at the den meeting on Friday.

***ATTENTION BEAR DEN*** All Bears interested in signing up should contact Mr. Chiaffa (sam@chiaffa.com or call 610-348-6569) BY Thursday night (3/11/10) to reserve your time slot since you won't be at the den meeting at the church on Friday.
Constitution Center Event:
Please see the e mail from Danielle Gallagher earlier today for details.
Blue & Gold Picnic:
For those who have never attended a Blue & Gold Picnic – the Blue & Gold picnic is our end of season picnic where all scouts and their immediate family are invited to. We will provide food & drinks. It is held at Newlin Grist Mill Park – http://www.thebrandywine.com/attractions/newlin_gristmill.html. There will be a ceremony to officially welcome the Tigers to Pack 375, as well as a ceremony to celebrate the second year Webelos completing cub scouts and moving on to boy scouts. There will be lots of fun and games, and at the end of the picnic, we will all launch our model rockets (the ones given to us by Santa at the holiday party).
The Blue & Gold picnic is scheduled for Saturday, March 27th from 10AM – 2PM. Scouts should come in full uniforms, and bring an extra set of clothes/shoes to change into. Den leaders will be assigning an item to bring to the picnic to share (i.e. dessert/fruit/salad).
I just heard from the appropriate person at the National Constitution Center this morning and she was able to give me more information about the format of the day as well as whether siblings can attend. For each den, there are activities/workshops for specific achievements. Some workshops cover all of the requirements under an achievement and some split the requirements depending on the content. Attached are sample schedules and when you check-in they actually custom-tailor your schedule based on what you would like to participate in that day.
Siblings can attend the workshops but we have to sign them up as scouts and pay the scout rate of $14.
I will be at the Riverview Church tonight after 6:30 PM if anyone has any more questions and will have the list of attendees with me. I would like to make reservations as soon as possible, so please let me know who is attending.
Thanks,
Danielle

Hello All,
First – a couple last minute reminders:
1.) Tonight there will be a Open Parent & Leaders Meeting at the Riverview Church starting at 7:00PM. Anyone who would like to assist in any way, shape, or capacity for the upcoming year in any role, should try to attend tonight if possible.
2.) The time for tomorrow night's meeting to make the lunches for the homeless is 7:00PM at the Riverveiw Church.
3.) Here is information on Scout Day at the National Constitution Center:
Scout Day at the National Constitution Center
March 20, 2010
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Scouts are covered by Pack 375. Adults are $12.
We asked about siblings and, unfortunately, they did not have an answer because the National Constitution Center doesn’t run this event. They think that siblings can attend the workshops but that participation may be limited to the scouts if there is any interaction because they are working on specific requirements for badges. There is food available for sale (burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches) in the Delegates Café or you can bring your own lunch.
Scouts should come in uniform. The following scouts are signed up:
Jacob Chin
Philip Melito
Billy Roze
Cameron Gallagher
Wyatt Pahrman
Joseph Ballaron
Scott Hibbs
Patrick Sullivan
Ryan Lebo
Shane DiRenzo
Tyler Winterbottom
Elijah Neal
Malachi Neal
Jake Fuiman
Michael McKenzie
William Ersek
Jake Stiefel
Christian Hughes
We need to know by tomorrow if the scouts are still attending and who is attending with them.
Please contact Danielle Gallagher with your attendance information. You can reach Danielle by email, daniellegallagher@comcast.net, or phone 610-745-9850.
Hello Cub Pack 375!
We hope everyone had a good time @ Cheng's Martial Arts last Friday.
Tomorrow night is the final Open Parents' & Leaders Meeting for this school year. If you would like to help out with the pack in any aspect for the upcoming year (i.e. planning events, awards coordinator, 2nd Year Weblos needs a leader, fundraising, etc) please try to attend tomorrow night's meeting. Any and all help for the upcoming year is welcome. We are meeting at the Riverview Presbyterian Church at 7:00PM.
On Wed evening at the Riverview Church, we are looking for volunteers to come help make the lunches we are donating to the homeless on behalf of the church. Scouts & their families are welcome to come to the church to make peanut butter & jelly sandwhiches, and pack the bags with the lunch. The church will then take the lunches we made and distribute them the next day to the homeless/foodless. The more people we have volunteer, the faster everyone can get done.
If you are planning on attending the make up Wings' Lacrosse game, which is this coming Saturday, March 13th, Mr. Chiaffa will have the tickets at the den meeting on Friday.
Friday's Den meeting will be held at the Riverview Church at 7:30PM.
***The Bear Den will be meeting at the Secane Firehouse as previously announced instead of the church.***
Please contact your den leader with any questions.

Hello Cub Pack 375!
This Friday is our Cheng's Martial Arts visit. This will be on Friday evening, INSTEAD of our normal den meeting. The event will start at 7:30PM. Please arrive 10 minutes early. The location is:
Cheng's Martial Arts
7416 W. Chester Pike
Upper Darby, PA, 19082
NOTE – this is a DIFFERENT location than in past years. Scouts should NOT wear their uniforms. Flexible pants, such as sweat pants or similiar should be worn to the event, along with a t-shirt/sweatshirt. If you have your Cub Pack 375 t-shirt, please wear that. The scouts will take part in a free lesson at the school. There is NO COST to this event.
You should have recieved an e mail from Anna Melito last week with your food assignments to bring to Cheng's Martial Arts. Please bring your assigned food item to Cheng's martial arts for the homeless lunches we are volunteering to help make as a courtesy to the church, and for community service.
If your scout is free on Wed, March 10th @ 7PM, we will be meeting up at the Riverview church to make the sandwiches for the homeless lunches. This is optional, but if you can make it please try to. The more volunteers we have, the faster it will go.
The next Open Parents & Leaders meeting will be next Tuesday, March 9th at 7PM at the Riverview church.
